It’s that time of year again where it is buggy, muggy and HOT.... welcome to June!
Temperatures are heating up this week to the mid-90s, but it will feel much hotter. A ridge of high pressure building into SE Texas is bringing dry weather, hotter temperatures and a high humidity.This high pressure system will help us heat up! Temperatures will be in the mid-90s. Tomorrow’s high temperatures will be 93-95.Not only will we see high heat, but we also will have high humidity.
By Wednesday the heat and humidity will be even HIGHER! It will feel like 105+. By this time a heat advisory may need to be issued. The climate prediction center shows SE Texas warmer than normal through the next two weeks. Keep in mind, we typically are in the lower-90s this time of year.Please stay cool! Drink plenty of water and take breaks in the A/C!
