Grandparents are getting creative when it comes to helping out virtually. Dale Rimkus started playing math Battleship games with his grandkids online to make math more fun.
Sarah Crothers has been working nonstop to help her five children with their online schoolwork while managing the house during the coronavirus pandemic. But when it became too overwhelming to provide extra attention to her 10-year-old son, Brady, who was struggling in math, she enlisted her dad to be a virtual tutor.
Dale Rimkus, a retail manager who lives nearby in the Chicago suburbs, was more than happy to oblige. Before the coronavirus shutdown, the 67-year-old got together with Brady about twice a week to work on math....
