Yanga President Hersi Ally Said says Kaizer Chiefs should not expect too much from their new coach Nasreddine Nabi.
The 58-year-old Tunisian coach was recently appointed the new Amakhosi coach after weeks of speculation. Before joining Chiefs, Nabi was with Moroccan outfitNabi made his name across the continent during his two-year stay with Yanga, With the Tanzanian giants, he won six trophies and reached the 2022/23 Caf Confederation Cup final.Ally Said wished the 58-year-old well as he started his new journey at Naturena.
“I know coach Nabi is coming down here, there are a lot of requirements, there are a lot of expectations on him and the technical staff and there are a lot of expectations from the fans at Kaizer Chiefs Chiefs,” Yanga boss told the“So we wish him all the best, he’s a very good coach. He has done marvellously with us. We won the league two times with him, we won the FA Cup two times with him. We went all the way to the final of the CAF Confederations Cup with him.
“The best management and the players that Kaizer Chiefs Chiefs have, I’m sure he is going to do wonders here.” Nabi will reunite with his former boss later this month when Kaizer Chiefs clash with Yanga in a pre-season cup match. “Let me take this opportunity to wish him all the best. I know it’s going to be tough, South Africa is on another level in terms of football, but all the best,” Said concluded.
