Stuman and her partner K9 Game Warden Kevin Winters made the discovery after receiving a tip that led them to conduct a restaurant inspection.“We do routine restaurant inspections, but there was something we were told that caught our attention to do this particular inspection,” Winters said. To obtain fins, fishermen catch sharks — accidentally or intentionally — and cut off their fins while they are alive before throwing the sharks back into the ocean.
