It's amazing that people have come together to do something for someone that they don't know personally, and that's the magic of just being a good person and doing the right thing," Hogan said in a news release. The news release noted first responders reported to a call about a man, later identified as Hogan, who was found unconscious in the road. At first, said authorities, Hogan did not have a pulse and paramedics used a defibrillator to try to revive him.
Hogan eventually regained his pulse in an ambulance on the way to an area hospital. After recovering, he contacted the fire department, saying he wanted to meet the people who helped save his life so he could thank them.
