Weather specialist Grace Castaneda said they have not monitored any weather disturbance inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.She said the ITCZ, an imaginary line where the air from the southern and northern hemisphere meet, is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.
In particular, it will bring overcast skies with scattered downpour and thunderstorms in Northern Mindanao, Caraga Region and Zamboanga Peninsula.Along with localized thunderstorms, the ITCZ will prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of the country where partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced especially in the afternoon or at night, Pagasa said.
