Israel Defence Forces Lt General Herzi Halevi said Israeli forces had arrived in the heart of northern Gaza and surrounded every direction. “Our soldiers have been operating in Gaza City for the past few days, surrounding it from several directions, deepening the operations,” Mr Halevi said.
