Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the country's cabinet is “deciding' when a possible Gaza ground invasion will take place.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his country Wednesday evening during a primetime address that its cabinet is 'deciding' on the timing for a possible ground incursion into the Gaza Strip. 'The goal, the timing of what the Israel Defense Forces is going to do is based on the cabinet and the chief of staff and the cabinet are deciding,' Netanyahu said.

'There's going to be a day of mourning, a national day of mourning.' As many as 7,900 people have been killed in the war on both sides, including at least 1,400 Israeli civilians and soldiers and 33 Americans.
