A bipartisan delegation led by Sen. Joni Ernst traveled to Israel on Tuesday and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to say Congress was ready to stand “shoulder-to-shoulder” with Israel, Ernst said. The delegation--which also included Rep. Donald Norcross , Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz , Rep. Darrell Issa , Rep. Jimmy Panetta and Rep.
Mariannette Miller-Meeks --traveled to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. “It was a bipartisan, bicameral delegation,” Ernst said. “And there was absolutely no daylight in our message at all” among Republican and Democratic legislators.
