Israeli defence forces admitted they have sought to target ambulances, claiming they are being used as cover to move Hamas terrorists around the area. Foreign Secretary James Cleverly is pressing for the key border crossing at Rafah to remain open for more UK nationals to secure safe passage out of Gaza., with the in-laws of Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf among those confirmed to have made it out.

He wrote: “Did every person who attended that march truly wish to associate themselves with acts of such barbarity? I sincerely hope that they did not. People search through buildings that were destroyed during Israeli air raids in the southern Gaza Strip
