Israel has reported the launch of 100 rockets from Lebanon since this morning, with some causing fires in the Galilee region. Meanwhile, Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that Tehran supports a ceasefire in Lebanon but only if it is acceptable to Hezbollah and synchronized with a ceasefire in Gaza. A UN medical supply delivery reached Lebanon for the first time since the escalation between Israel and Hezbollah.
Israel 's 364th-day genocidal war on Gaza has killed 41,788 Palestinians, based on conservative estimates. Separately, Israel 's bombardment across Lebanon since October 2023 has killed 1,974 people and uprooted 1.2 million people.Some projectiles landed in open areas, causing wildfires in parts of Galilee, although no casualties have been reported.
A delivery of medical supplies from the United Nations reached Lebanon on Friday, a first since last week's escalation between Israel and Hezbollah, said a UN agency and a Lebanese minister. "Eighteen martyrs following the bombing of the Tulkarem camp by the occupation," the Palestinian health ministry said on its Telegram account. Meanwhile, Israel missile hit outside the perimetre of Beirut airport, according to Reuters news agency. Lebanon submitted a formal complaint on Thursday to the UN Security Council and Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for Israel's incursion into its territory and violating the Blue Line separating the two countries.
