Israel Defence Forces releases footage they claim shows their army 'destroying Hamas tunnels' in Gaza.
The Israel Defence Forces say Mohsen Abu Zina has been killed in an air attackIsrael yesterday claimed it had so far destroyed 130 tunnels below the Gaza Strip amid warnings Hamas's leadership were 'dead men walking'.
Defence minister Yoav Gallant said Israel was 'tightening the noose' around the city, although he did not specify where they believe Yahya Sinwar is hiding. An Israeli military spokesman said: 'The directive is definitely to kill or capture... all the leaders of Hamas; those who planned, facilitated and executed the murderous October 7 massacre in Israel.
Videos posted on social media by the IDF yesterday claimed to show tunnel shafts being located, exposed by digging equipment and blown up by Israeli soldiers. IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said 130 tunnels had been destroyed.
