Isolated severe storms are possible late Thursday and Friday in Alabama.

NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center has part of west and north Alabama in a marginal risk for severe weather on Thursday night into Friday morning as a cold front approaches the state. The strongest storms could have damaging winds and hail. Forecasters said a broken line of thunderstorms is expected to shift eastward across the region at some point from late Thursday evening through Friday morning.
