Medical tourists who were allowed to enter the country to undergo treatment under the recovery movement control order only extended to those in critical condition or with serious illnesses.
Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in a statement today that for phase 1A, only medical evacuation cases would be allowed. "This involved critical patients who needed intensive treatment at the Intensive Care Unit or High Dependency Unit," he said.
