Rams' sophomore Isaiah Gadsden's game-winning goal propelled Central Dauphin to the second round of the District 3 playoffs for the first time in school history.

Sean Simmers |ssimmers@pennlive.comTwo minutes into overtime, Gadsden found an opening, rushed the net and netted the game-winning goal to help CD to the second round of the District 3 tournament for the first time in school history.

May 17, 2025 Gadsden’s goal gave the No. 7 Rams a 10-9 victory over No. 10 Dallastown in the first round of the District 3 3A tournament.Not only did he net the game-winning goal, he scored a game-high 5 goals. Cohen Hunter was second on the team with 2 goals.Santanna helped the Rams control possessions in the second half by winning faceoffs. Without his faceoff victories, CD doesn’t get as many opportunities as it did in the third quarter. Tully stepped up in the goal in the second half. After giving up 7 goals in the first half, he tightened up and made some clutch saves.There was no bigger moment than Gadsden’s game-winning goal, but it was a third-quarter run by the Rams that gave him the opportunity to convert on the goal.More than halfway through the third quarter, CD’s Joe McNally put the ball in the back of the net.McNally’s goal sparked a 5-0 run that spanned 3 minutes of game time. McNally, Gadsden, Styles Hudson, Cohen Hunter and Connor Towsen each nabbed a goal during the run.No. 7 Central Dauphin will travel to No. 2 Manheim Township for the second round of the District 3 3A playoffs.“Isaiah is our sleeper. No one knows about him. He definitely has the fastest shot on our team. He came through once again. We’re so proud of him.”“Our defense stepped it up in the second half. We started playing real aggressive.
