Xenomorph and Rain in space suit in Alien: Romulus

The Offspring is introduced as a new type of Xenomorph in Alien: Romulus, and as the final boss of the film, whether its actually dead at the film's conclusion is a lingering question. The birth of the Offspring completely changes the course of Alien: Romulus' ending. Kay sustains near fatal injuries in their attempt to escape, and she resorts to injecting herself with the black goo vials as a means of"healing" herself.

Rain Seemingly Killed The Offspring In Alien: Romulus The Offspring Shouldn't Have Survived It does appear that the Offspring died in Alien: Romulus as a result of Rain's actions. She draws the creature into the cargo hold of the escape vehicle Corbelan IV and begins to formulate a plot to open the door to space to extract the alien forcefully. The Offspring does not get pulled into space once the hatch is opened but is continuously injured as sand rips its skin open.

3 From there, the Offspring is likely crushed to death by the impact of the cargo crashing into the ice ring. If that did not do the job, the explosion from the cargo hitting the ice ring should also have been powerful enough to kill the hybrid. If, by some chance, that was not enough, the impending Renaissance space station collision would seem to be an event that would kill the Offspring.
