In one of music’s buzziest nights, the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards is set to mark its 40th anniversary. NBC’s Chloe Melas reports for TODAY on what’s in store Wednesday night — and looks back at some of the most memorable moments.
Taylor Swift is up for 12 MTV Video Music Awards and the singer could possibly be in attendance at the show on Sept. 11 at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. It's unclear if Swift will be in attendance at the ceremony, and she is not listed among the performers. Her schedule is hypothetically open. Currently, Swift is on a break from her 'Eras Tour' and was spotted in New York City at the U.S. Open with her beau Travis Kelce this past weekend.
