The retailer is partnering with K-beauty giant Olive Young to bring more Korean brands to its stores.
If you’re ever lucky enough to visit Seoul, you’ll quickly discover there’s basically an Olive Young on every other block. The Korean beauty retailer dominates the South Korean market so much that when Sephora tried to enter the country in 2019, it left just five years later in 2024.
I imagine Sephora was shaking in its boots just a little when Olive Young announced plans to debut its own stores in Los Angeles .to bring Olive Young’s wares to North America: 650 Sephora locations in the U.S. and Canada will begin hosting Olive Young displays starting in fall 2026, and the products will be available online as well. Although we don’t know which brands the partnership will bring here, word on the block is that the items will mainly be skin care — but that could change in the future. All of this is great news to skin-care lovers who can’t afford a trip to South Korea every year to stock up on their favorites .to add eight Korean brands to its offerings: Rom&nd, Chasin’ Rabbits, Neogen, Some By Mi, Sungboon Editor, I’m From, Mixsoon, and Unleashia. As the K-beauty obsession continues , everybody’s fighting to grab their share of the profits.
