Aside from the focus on firearms and integrating some randomly generated environments, the Remnant series sets itself apart from other Soulslikes such as Elden Ring and Lords of the Fallen mainly with its focus on co-op. Both titles encourage you to team up with two friends to fight your way through the mutated monsters that await.
Is Remnant 2 cross-platform? At launch, Remnant 2 lacked any cross-platform functionality, meaning you were forced to only play with those on your specific platform the same way it works with Palworld. However, the developers eventually managed to add full cross-platform support to the game in an update and now you can play with friends no matter what platform they are on.

Using this method of matchmaking, console players will be limited to only PS5 and Xbox Series X/S crossplay, and PC isolated on its own. If you want to make sure you can play with anyone, just make sure to add them as a friend first.
