It’s no surprise then that Oliver has addressed the drama surrounding Kate Middleton, whose absence from royal duties following a “planned abdominal surgery” has spawned full-on conspiracy theories about her whereabouts. “A certain someone’s Adobe free trial expired in a pretty public manner,” Oliver quipped on Sunday’s episode of Last Week Tonight, which otherwise largely focused on student loans.

Never explain’?” to which Oliver joked, “There’s a nonzero chance she died 18 months ago. They might be Weekend at Bernie’s–ing this situation. Nonzero—I’m not saying it happened! I’m saying it’s nonzero until proved otherwise. Until you see her with a copy of the day’s newspaper.
