Is J.K. Rowling Transphobic? Why the 'Harry Potter' Author Is Under Fire On Twitter Again (via PopCrush)
Berns herself shared an article about Rowling being faced with controversy over following her account. She also quote tweeted a fan who wrote that Rowling was "following a transphobe during Pride Month," simply adding, "Cool."
The discovery of Rowling's questionable follow comes after the author previously favorited a tweet which stated that transgender women are "men in dresses." Rowling's representative told a ,“I’m afraid J.K. Rowling had a clumsy and middle-aged moment and this is not the first time she has favorited by holding her phone incorrectly.”
