Is Isiah Pacheco the best running back in Super Bowl 58?
United States Latest News,United States Headlines

Which running back will rush for more yards in the Super Bowl? Find out why our expert believes Isiah Pacheco has the juice to outgain Christian McCaffrey.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes hands the ball off to Kansas running back Isiah Pacheco during the AFC Championship NFL football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday, Jan.

28, 2024, in Baltimore. The Chiefs won 17-10.In this edition of the mailbag, I will address a question relating to a rushing prop for the upcoming Super Bowl. My answer may be surprising to some of you. I’m not usually into props, but I see that one of the props being offered for the Super Bowl regarding which player will lead the game in rushing. Is CMC a shoe-in for this bet?As Danny alludes to, San Francisco RB Christian McCaffrey is the favorite to lead the game in rushing, according to all reputable. In fact, when put head-to-head with Chiefs leading RB Isiah Pacheco, McCaffrey is “favored” to outgain Pacheco by 23.5 rushing yards ( "If you just drew your own player in madden and created your own guy, I don't know that you could create a more perfect guy to fit in Kyle's offense" 💪I’m going to play contrarian here and declare that not only will Pacheco keep his rushing total close to McCaffrey’s, but the Chiefs running back will actually outgain CMC on the ground. You can get odds of +190 on that prop atFirst of all, the Chiefs are more run-heavy this season than they have been during the Mahomes era. Pacheco has had at least 24 carries in two of three Kansas City postseason games thus far. That number of rush attempts is almost unheard of in today’s NFL. Then there is the state of the San Francisco rushing defense. After allowing 10 rushing touchdowns all season, the Niners have allowed five in two playoff games. They are allowing 5.6 yards per carry and a rush of at least 42 yards in each playoff game thus far. Despite allowing the third-fewest rushing yards per game during the season, the run defense has looked very shaky the past couple of games. As for the head-to-head matchup, Pacheco has been the game’s leading rusher in each of the Chiefs three postseason games, while McCaffrey has not led either playoff game in yards gained on the ground. We are not used to the Chiefs being a running team, but that is exactly what they have turned into. With a Super Bowl 58 victory, Pacheco would become the first starting running back to win a Super Bowl each of his first two seasons. It will all start with his powerful running game, in which he should outgain his opposing running star.provides PennLive with original sports betting, lottery and casino content including odds, analysis, predictions and reviews to educate bettors.
