MCA vice-president Ti Lian Ker says otherwise, DAP should explain its meaning in the context of cultural, ethnic, and national diversity.
Ti Lian Ker said DAP’s call for equal rights led to MCA losing more than half of the parliamentary seats the party contested in the 1969 general elections.
If the slogan aligns with such promises, Ti said the party should acknowledge the mistake it has made. Ti also claimed that DAP had undergone various shifts in its positions over time, including its recent commitment to uphold Tunku’s vision and the Federal Constitution.
