The MCU is packed with references and hints at some of its biggest moments, and among them is how Age of Ultron hinted at Iron Man's death
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has seen various heartbreaking moments, among them Iron Man’s death in the third act of Avengers: Endgame, but his demise was secretly revealed back in 2015. The MCU has grown into the biggest connected universe in the superhero genre, and as such, it’s packed with Easter eggs, references, hints and moments of foreshadowing that eventually pay off.
Thor’s Water of Sight Visions Revealed Tony’s Death Avengers: Age of Ultron featured one too many subplots, one of them involving Thor. The God of Thunder saw a vision of the destruction of Asgard and got a quick glimpse at the Infinity Stones. This led Thor to leave the Avengers to learn more about the Stones and other parts of the vision, and with the help of Erik Selving, he found the Water of Sight.
