Former doctor Leo Varadkar returns to health service to help coronavirus crisis
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has joined thousands of people answering Ireland's call for medical staff to return to the health service to help in the battle against coronavirus.A spokesman said: "Many of his family and friends are working in the health service.Varadkar worked as a doctor for seven years before leaving the profession to become a politician and was removed from the medical register in 2013.
