In a Fox News interview, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani claimed the U.S. was a proponent of terrorism in the Middle East.
After President Donald Trump's sanctions in the wake of the bombing of Saudi Arabian oil fields, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani told Fox News correspondent Chris Wallace,"Today, America, unfortunately, is the supporter of terrorism in our region. Wherever America has gone, terrorism has expanded in the wake."
In his speech, Trump said,"All nations have a duty to act. No responsible government should subsidize Iran's bloodlust. As long as Iran's menacing behavior continues, sanctions will not be lifted, they will be tightened."
