Polis siber Iran menahan 24 orang yang didakwa menyebarkan berita palsu mengenai Covid-19.

Republikan Islam itu “seolah-olah menyembunyikan maklumat epidemik itu selari dengan contoh China”, NGO yang lebih dikenali sebagai RSF itu dalam satu kenyataan. RSF berkata wartawan bebas Mohammad Mosaed disiasat pegawai perisikan Pengawal Revolusi pada 23 Feb berhubung mesej yang dia siarkan di media sosial mengenai wabak itu.
