IPOH: Ops Selamat 19, in conjunction with Chinese New Year, has been launched by the Ipoh police district.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Hassan said the operation will be conducted for 10 days, from Wednesday to Jan 27.

“We will be focusing on five main objectives: reduce road accidents, ensure smooth traffic flow, respond immediately to cases, prevent break-ins, and increase patrols to prevent crime,” he said here on Wednesday.ACP Yahaya said other operations, including Ops Samseng Jalanan, Ops Motosikal and Ops Perdagangan, will be conducted with the relevant agencies.
