IPOH: Penggambaran filem Tamil atau Kollywood dari Selatan India di bandar raya ini baru-baru ini membuka ruang untuk Ipoh menjadi lokasi pilihan perusahaan filem India.
“Sejak tahun lepas kita memang ada perancangan untuk menarik penggiat seni dari India dan terbukti ia sudah bermula pada tahun ini. Menurutnya, penggambaran filem Kollywood yang dijalankan selama sebulan di bandar raya ini baru-baru ini sudah cukup baik untuk memasarkan Ipoh sebagai lokasi penggambaran filem.
“Di India, rupa-rupanya terbahagi kepada dua industri filem yang besar iaitu Bollywood dan Kollywood,” katanya.
