Fortunately, it seems that Verizon – where the phone was purchased from – has stepped in to offer replacements for affected devices. The statement further elaborated on the issue, stating, “The device may feel warmer during the first few days after setting up or restoring the device because of increased background activity.”Additionally, the statement highlighted another issue related to recent updates to third-party apps, which have been overloading the system.
