Throw in the depth issues, and it makes it difficult for the Wildcats to play at the high tempo at which they perform at their best. An inability to make shots and take care of the ball will make scoring against the Cyclones even tougher. Iowa State will force plenty of turnovers, defend well, and prevent second-chance opportunities en route to holding the Wildcats under 70 points. Iowa State has responded to its two defeats in emphatic fashion, winning its last three games by at least 13 points. With how much Kansas State is struggling at both ends, this game will get away from the Wildcats. The Cyclones are outstanding defensively, and they look to stifle teams from the opening tip. It’s a key reason why the first-half Under has hit in 10 of their last 12 road games. We should see more of the same today, as the Wildcats struggle early and often to find points.
