iOS 18 is expected to be released later this fall. However, Apple has already announced several features will be delayed.
iOS 18 was previewed during the WWDC 2024 keynote early in June. The huge update's release date is expected to coincide with the iPhone 16 announcement in September. But not every announced feature will come with version 18.0, as some might be delayed until iOS 18.1, 18.2, or even later. That said, these are 10 upcoming iOS 18 delayed features that won't be available when the update is first released this fall.
' That said, these are some of the functions that, even launching in beta, will have its official release delayed for a later date: • Writing Tools: Users can rewrite, proofread, and summarize text nearly everywhere they write, including Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps; • Image Playground: Users can create playful images in seconds, choosing from Animation, Illustration, or Sketch.
