And it’s good news for another reason: Apple could have rushed out iOS 14.6.1 to release the patch, and taken its time over iOS 14.7. While it still could do that, the fact that the patch is in iOS 14.7 suggests that it will send us 14.7 imminently instead.There’s no evidence that the battery issue which has been affecting some users since iOS 14.
6 and before has been fixed, and no mention in the notes about the green tint which some iPhone 12 series phones have been experiencing. That doesn’t meant they’re not fixed, merely that it’s not in the notes yet. On the other hand, so it may be that there’s another update coming after iOS 14.7 for that.There are not many new features expected, though one of them—more versatile use of HomePod timers through the Home app—looks pretty cool.
