Ezra Miller's Controversies After Invincible Season 1 Explained As alluded to, the reason for recasting D.A. Sinclair stemmed from the controversies that have transpired involving Ezra Miller. While the infamous Iceland choking incident involving Ezra Miller took place before Invincible season 1's release, charges were not pressed against them in 2020.
Further incidents include Miller being accused of grooming and leading a cult, as reported by Variety in August 2022. That same month, Miller was accused of felony burglary by Vermont State Police. In January 2023, Miller pled guilty to misdemeanor trespassing for this event, leading the actor to actively seek out professional help for their various controversies. Given this string of incidents, it is not difficult to see why Invincible removed Miller from the role of D.A.
