Invincible's-Battle-Beast-Explained--Origin,-Powers-&-How-He's-So-Strong

Battle Beast is one of the most interesting characters in the Invincible universe, and now that he is back in Invincible season 3, here are the character's origins, powers, and how he is so strong. Battle Beast originally started Invincible out as a villain, but after facing off against Mark Grayson and the Guardians of the Globe, Battle Beast slowly transitioned into the role of a supporting protagonist.

Battle Beast's story in Invincible is just beginning in season 3, so here is everything that there is to know about the character's past, present, and future in the Amazon Prime Video series. The world of Invincible is full of recurring villains, but none are as interesting as Battle Beast. After making his Invincible debut in season 1, the character finally returned in Invincible season 3, episode 4. While inciting a riot in the Viltrumite Prison, Allen the Alien comes across Battle Beast, freeing him and asking him to join the fight. Battle Beast is the only prisoner outside of Allen and Nolan who is able to take on the Viltrumites without dying. During the fight, Battle Beast is split up from Allen and Nolan, although he will return in Invincible again. Battle Beast's Native Planet & Why He Left Explained He Went Searching For Worthy Opponents Close Battle Beast may have first been seen on Earth in Invincible, but the character is not originally from Earth. Instead, Battle Beast comes from an unnamed home planet that is the home of his species. Battle Beast's strength led to him becoming the guardian of his home planet. However, Battle Beast eventually left his home planet after an unknown amount of time. Battle Beast decided that he wanted to travel the universe in search of worthy opponents, with him being armed with his mace, strength, and unquenchable thirst for blood and glory. Related Invincible's Biggest Change To Cecil's Backstory Makes Him Much More Heroic Invincible season 3 finally tells the backstory of Cecil Stedman, but the origin story makes a major change to the original comic books. Posts Unfortunately, what is known about Battle Beast's backstory is very vague. Things like the name of his species and details about his planet are still mysteries, with the only real hint being that another member of Battle Beast's species is seen at the Coalition of Planets in Invincible season 2. Interestingly, a new comic series about Battle Beast is set to release in April 2025, meaning that these gaps in Battle Beast's story could finally be filled in. Robert Kirkman is returning to write it, meaning that it will probably be canon to Invincible. Battle Beast's Powers, Abilities, & Strength He Is As Strong As The Viltrumites Close Battle Beast is one of the most powerful characters in the Invincible universe, with his main drive being to find foes as powerful as he is. Battle Beast's strength is his main attribute, with him defeating a young Mark Grayson in Invincible season 1, as well as the Guardians of the Globe. Battle Beast has also been able to hold his own against Viltrumites, with him seriously injuring the two Viltrumite guards in Invincible season 3. In the comics, Battle Beast even holds his own against Thragg, highlighting how evenly matched he is with the Viltrumites. Outside of his pure strength, Battle Beast has several other tools that he utilizes. His fangs and claws are often used to do serious damage to opponents, ripping into them to cause blood loss. Battle Beast is often seen using various weapons as well, such as his trusty mace as well as swords and axes. He is also incredibly fast and durable, with him often leaping around rooms like a cat. Although Battle Beast is an alien, his feline attributes are what lead to many of his powers, with all of them being used in battle. Battle Beast Lived On Earth In Invincible Season 1 He Originally Worked For Machine Head Close Despite being an alien, Battle Beast's first appearance in Invincible saw him living on Earth. In Invincible season 1, Battle Beast is working for Machine Head, the crime boss that is later replaced by Titan. As it turns out, Machine Head hired Battle Beast as well as several other supervillains to do his bidding. Battle Beast took this deal, with him having moved to Earth in order to test the strength of Earth's fiercest warriors. Battle Beast knew that the job would lead to him facing off against Earth's heroes, with him eventually fighting Invincible and other members of the Guardians of the Globe. After easily defeating the aforementioned heroes, Battle Beast was disappointed with the competition on Earth. Thus, he abandoned the planet in search of warriors elsewhere. What happened to Battle Beast immediately after this hasn't yet been explained. However, it is known that he was next found by Allen the Alien, with Battle Beast somehow having wound up in a Viltrumite prison. Battle Beast had also developed a vendetta against Viltrumites in this time gap, meaning that battling them is what most likely led to his imprisonment. Related Invincible Season 3 Creates A New Plot Hole With This Villain’s Return Invincible season 3 finally properly introduced a villain who has been teased since season 2, but his debut creates a massive story problem. Posts 3 After being freed, Battle Best joined Allen and Nolan's fights against the Viltrumites. Allen eventually tore a hole in the ship, sucking the three heroes and two Viltrumite guards into the vacuum of space. While Allen and Nolan were handling one of the Viltrumites, they lost track of Battle Beast and the other guard. It is eventually revealed that Battle Beast and the Viltrumite floated off into space as they continued to fight. Battle Beast's Future In Invincible Explained What Happens Next For Battle Beast Close Although he is gone for now, Battle Beast will return in Invincible again. Based on the comics, Battle Beast won't be gone for long. After returning to the Coalition of Planets, Allen and Nolan are tasked with traveling the universe and discovering Viltrumite weaknesses. Battle Beast is one of the individuals that they know can defeat Viltrumites, with him being found frozen and floating through space. He is brought back to the Coalition of Planets and recruited, with him participating in the Viltrumite War. Later, Battle Beast encounters the main antagonist of Invincible, Thragg. Battle Beast and Thragg battle, with Thragg eventually winning. Battle Beast is killed, with Thragg deciding to make a cape out of Battle Beast's pelt. Thragg wears it as a reminder of how dangerous he is, with the villain having given Battle Beast a tragic end. All of this should be covered in Amazon Prime Video's Invincible show, although the upcoming Battle Beast comic could add even more story for the series to explore.Your Rating close 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Rate Now 0/10 Leave a Review Your comment has not been saved Invincible TV-MA Animation Adventure Action 8/10 51 8.7/10 Release Date March 26, 2021 Network Amazon Prime Video Showrunner Simon Racioppa Writers Robert Kirkman Franchise Invincible Cast See All Based on the comic book character by Robert Kirkman, Invincible follows Mark Grayson, a seventeen-year-old who leads a seemingly average life save for the fact that he lives behind the shadow of his superhero father, Omni-Man.
