Investigators part of a Southeast Alaska task force busted two separate residences Friday in Juneau, seizing weapons and drugs worth over $341,000.

2/10 gram of fentanyl powderAuthorities with the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs — otherwise known as SEACAD — task force executed search warrants on two different residences; one on the 500 block of Seward Street in Downtown Juneau, and the other around the 4000 block of Windfall Avenue, located about 10 miles away off Mendenhall Loop Road.

While serving a search warrant at the Windfall Avenue residence, SEACAD investigators saw 36-year-old Shane Michael Hart outside. Upon seeing the police, Hart ran inside the house and barricaded the doors, according to the department. Juneau police were eventually able to arrest Hart and another resident in the area, 29-year-old Mekena Lee Wutzke, although no details were given on how they detained them.

At the Seward Street residence, police were able to arrest 63-year-old Andrew Cousins and 55-year-old Tina Renee Cousins outside in a Toyota Sienna. A fifth person, 56-year-old Deeann Marie Hanson, was arrested in Downtown Juneau. Police said Hanson was a resident of the Windfall Avenue place.
