The videos show a guy in a red hoodie randomly walking up to people walking at Wortham Park in the Cypress area and punching them.HOUSTON — The Precinct 5 Constable's Office is investigating after concerned citizens informed them about a video posted on social media showing someone punching people at a Harris County park.
It shows a guy in a red hoodie with Spartans in white lettering on the front randomly going up to people from behind and sucker-punching them. He also tried to tackle one man on the walking trail. It happened at Wortham Park earlier this week. The video drew hundreds of comments and sparked concern among nearby residents who also use the trail.
“I try to come four days a week or so so I can walk around here at lunch time,” Scott Lloyd said. “It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood, so I’m a little surprised that someone’s that brazen. to come up and hit somebody without warning or without reason.”"Some of my nurses walk here at lunch so I'd be more concerned about them than myself," Lloyd said.
