Police arrested a Cleveland man Jan. 30 for driving drunk on Pearl Road. Also, a wanted Cleveland man was arrested Jan. 31 on Snow Road.
Police stopped the man’s Lexus sedan on Pearl near the Interstate 71 overpass because he was driving 48 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Sauce was all over the man’s face and on the car’s front seats and dashboard. When asked where he had been and where he was going, he said he couldn’t remember. The man admitted drinking alcohol. After he was placed in handcuffs, the man said, “I shouldn’t have been driving.” He said his family would be disappointed in him.Police noticed the man’s F-150 pickup truck in the parking lot of Convenient Food Mart, 6610 Smith. They recognized the man from previous incidents and checked his name in their computer.
Police learned the man was wanted for theft in Strongsville. They followed the man as he drove onto Sheldon Road and into Brook Park. The man took a turn or two and ended up on Snow eastbound, where police stopped his truck.
