My middle school assembly had so many girls try out with that song that they just lumped them all together. It ended up being like nine girls sitting on the stage doing their rendition of the cup song. There was so much tchotchke crap and tin signs made with that slogan. I’m sure it all sits in landfills. Right now it’s mushrooms on everything. Before that, it was foxes. But I always think «put a bird on it » when I see a trend like that in little boutiques.

In some ways, maybe it did. Planking is one of those things where... hey, you either get it or you don’t. And I don’t. But I am so excited to be a part of it! A customer once barked at me, 'I’m the mayor of this store on FourSquare,' and I told her I had no idea what that meant
