Regardless of country of origin Gen Z is not predictable.

Through the International Visitor Leadership Program of the U.S. Department of State, four women entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan made their sweep to U.S. cities and territories such as Akron, Santa Fe, New York, as well as Washington, D.C. — to learn how women entrepreneurs and women-owned enterprises are supported for success.

All were first-time visitors to the U.S. including: Begaiym Beknazarova, founder, Maral Chapan Clothing Company; Mubarak Dzhamalova, business development manager, Bai Tushum Bank; Chynara Ibraimova, director, FNT Asset Management Financial Company; and Zharkynai Kamashova, entrepreneur, Industrial Greenhouse, toured the WWD offices to learn about the fashion business, gender disparity in the workplace and differences between next-gen consumers in the U.S. and the Kyrgyz Republic.
