However, only two clinical trials have documented greater improvements via IF compared to CR. Similar to this large trial, three other pilot studies have compared the effects of IF vs. CR on the same parameters.

The prescription of iTRE vs. CR also elicited favorable lipid profile alterations. This parameter likely also reduced ectopic lipid and spiked peripheral glucose uptake.

These hurdles persist despite repeated calls from policy-makers and researchers to better prepare and support educators as the facilitators of learning for sustainability, underscoring the need to more closely connect top-down Education for Sustainable Development policy to teachers’ needs and classroom experiences.
