While speaking to ScreenRant, Bader stated a spin-off can happen with Sarah Catherine Hook’s Sarah and Lucien Laviscount’s Trey. She told the outlet, “I think there should be a spin-off with Sarah and Lucien’s character, who I can’t remember his name. And then I will cameo in that.” The interviewer also asked Bader if there would be another Emily Henry adaptation that she would like to do, but she responded, “I don’t think I can. The universes are linked.” People We Meet on Vacation became the number one English-language film on Netflix upon its debut on January 9, 2026. It reportedly generated approximately 17 million views in its opening weekend. On, the movie got a score of 76 percent on the Tomatometer based on critic reviews. On the Popcornmeter, the movie got 71 percent based on audience reviews.
