Ever wanted to swiftly share files between two PCs without needing to hop on the same WiFi or Ethernet network, or using an external drive? Well, Intel has a
solution for that, and it's called Thunderbolt Share. Unlike the two methods mentioned earlier, this newly introduced software not only allows file sharing through a Thunderbolt-compatible cable connection, but also seamless screen sharing.
As the company puts it, Thunderbolt Share utilises a wired connection to harness the speed, low latency, and security features of Thunderbolt technology. It enables PC-to-PC connectivity, allowing users to share screens, keyboards, mice, and storage, as well as synchronise folders or drag-and-drop files seamlessly between computers. Additionally, the new software will be compatible with Thunderbolt 4 or 5 PCs, docks, and monitors.
