Thailand's government has announced French tyre maker Michelin planned to invest 300 million euros (US$328 million - RM1.55b billion) in the South-East Asian country over the next three years to increase production capacity.
TAIPING: The Transport Ministry has opened a request for proposal to continue with the Ipoh Railway Integrated Development plan based on the transport on demand concept.
"The Transport Ministry has given priority to this project and is only waiting for the RFP because it has been delayed since it was launched in October 2019, and then there was a change in government besides the Covid-19 pandemic. The iRide development plan covering an area of 78ha around the Ipoh railway station was launched on Oct 10, 2019.
