| Of all the court cases Donald Trump faces, the latest that unfolded on Thursday in the “swamp” of Washington is probably the one he hates the most.Donald Trump sits between his attorneys Todd Blanche and John Lauro in court.The former president was literally left twiddling his thumbs and making small talk with his lawyers, flanked either side of him in the tiny courtroom, while he waited for Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya to show up.
“It was also very sad driving through Washington DC and seeing all the filth and decay ... it’s a very sad thing to see it,” he said on the tarmac on his way home after the arraignment. Trump, wearing his staple red tie and blue suit, sat patiently, stony faced listening to the charges while 11 journalists tapped away on keyboards behind him, and another 60 filled the overflow rooms with live feeds of the proceedings.
