A stunning stone barn conversion in Scotland dating back to the 18th century has recently gone on the market and it could make for the perfect family home.
Fox Covert is a four bedroom home situated approximately four miles north of the thriving and historic market town of Kelso in theoriginally formed part of a traditional farm steading and has been"cleverly designed to create a rustic conversion which encapsulates the industry of its past". For example, the envelope of the building has been preserved, with the previous openings being redesigned into doors and windows.
Moving upstairs, there is a"bright spacious" family room with a roof light, wood-burning stove, and a Juliet balcony. The first floor is also where the master bedroom is located, which comes with a walk-in wardrobe, a luxury fitted bathroom, and a further Juliet balcony.
