Inside the abandoned and slowly rotting Full Monty working men's club
An urban explorer has shared photos from inside Shiregreen Club in Sheffield as a new spin-off series of the 1997 film is aired.
The club opened its doors more 100 years ago and was a local for many of the community from all areas of the city. It also provided the focal point of the characters' lives in The Full Monty, which saw six industrial steel workers striptease in an attempt to raise a quid or two. 'The Home Of The Full Monty' sign still hangs proudly on the front of Shiregreen Club today, despite it closing its doors for good in 2019 after struggling financially. Plans were made to demolish the club but former barmaid Ann Bentley and her husband, Roy - who ran the club for 15 years and during filming - started a petition to get the plan to demolish the club rejected.
