They've even got sandwich named after the show
It was the setting for one of the most talked-about TV scenes of the past few years. Now the Bolton café which featured in hit BBC drama Happy Valley has created a 'Happy Valley sandwich' in honour of the show.
"Yesterday we were on Lorraine for all of about three minutes and after that we got slammed... it was chaos! But it's good for business and good for people to come in and have a chat, have a laugh, and it gives us something to talk to people in the community about. For those who may not have caught the action of episode three on Sunday night, the cafe scene unfolded after police sergeant Catherine confronted her sister Clare over the devastating discovery that she had been helping her grandson Ryan visit his father behind bars.
