RUTH Langsford has enjoyed some downtime away from the city and whisked her gal pals away for some time in the Cotswolds.presenter, who celebrated her 63rd birthday on March 17th, traded in the busy streets of London for a luxury getaway in the British countryside.The star sipped on champagne and was treated to a slap-up mealand her pals – cook Sam Balshaw, PR Louise Alexander and TV presenter Lucy Alexander – set up a home in an adorable cottage called the Old School House.
The comfy home came with an old-fashioned log-burning fireplace to keep cosy, high-end furniture for you to relax and read a book in, and simple kitchen to get your essentials in. They later headed to the at Lygon Arms in the Cotswolds, where they were treated to special chocolates and enjoyed champagne.
The breathtaking mansion, based in the village of Broadway, is over 600 years old and has previously housed royalty.
