EXCLUSIVE: From personalised pumpkin carts to celeb guests, OK! takes a look inside Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby's extravagant first birthday party for her daughter Alba

threw for her one-year-old daughter Alba Jean last week was right up there with the Kardashians in terms of attention to detail, extravagance and all-out glamour!which was held in an enormous marquee on the grounds of Black Horse Beamish, County Durham. And it’s certainly fair to say that the formerstar and her partner Jake Ankers, 33, had gone all out to create a day to remember for their daughter’s first birthday.

“I put on a big birthday and it wasn’t just for Alba, it was for everyone to enjoy. It had a full soft play set-up and you could order a Sunday dinner. If you wanted to drink, you could have one too. Alba and all our family and friends had a great time, it went so well.”Despite any stress she may have been feeling beforehand, Charlotte, also 33, looked every inch the yummy mummy at the bash, dressing up for the occasion in a taupe, figure-hugging dress.

“My party days were always very much exaggerated. I’m actually such a homely person. I still have the odd night out for special occasions and will enjoy a drink then, but I never enjoy a hangover so I don’t do it often.”The star adds that she hasn’t even been to a nightclub since the pandemic. “Becoming a mother has made me very unbothered by alcohol, partying and stepping foot inside a nightclub,” she reveals.

She might prefer early nights to swigging shots these days, but Charlotte’s old pals from the show were out in full force at Alba’s party.Guests included Holly Hagan and her husband Jacob Blyth along with their nearly five-month-old son Alpha-Jax, as well as Sophie Kasaei and her boyfriend, TOWIE star Jordan Brook. The star-studded event boasted a bouncy castle, a soft play area, a photo area decorated with pumpkins and hay, and lovely details such as Alba’s name spelt out in big lights.
